Trim Tool.
The trim tool cuts off a portion of an object so that it ends at a selected boundary or cutting object.  The object to be trimmed must intersect the cutting objects.  Lines, arcs, rectangles, polylines, ovals, and polygons can be trimmed or selected as cutting objects.
